In order to facilitate our ambitious growth objectives, we are looking to expand our team with a Search Engineer.
Job Title: Search Engineer Start date: As soon as possible Location: Ede, The Netherlands Working hours: 4 days/week or full-time (preferable)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design innovative search and crawling solutions
- Design, implement and integrate enterprise search components which provide world-class search functionality
- Work closely with clients to understand information needs, and facilitate/advise in translating search technology into effective solutions that support business objectives
- Investigate and recommend new search technology solutions that leverage existing tools and resources into cutting edge innovations
- Contribute to pre-sales activities and proposal development
Qualifications
- Master degree in computer science or equivalent, with specialization in information retrieval, search or related field
- Strong analytical skills
- Solution oriented and willingness to learn
- Versatile and flexible attitude, team player
- Ability to translate business requirements into specific objectives and action plans
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good communicator in both technical and business environments
