Software Engineer Position In IBM-SVL

Software engineer position in IBM-Silicon Valley Lab in DB2 Linux/Windows Platforms, XML Compiler/Optimizer group. The person should be a very quick learner with independent problem solving skills.It requires strong skills/experiences/knowledge in the following areas: Database client/server process/thread model, parallelism model, scalable architecture; developing/testing skills on Linux/Unix/Windows platforms; C, C++, Java programming languages; SQL and XML languages; Communication and presentation; Teaming with others; DB2 experience preferred. The software engineer will need to collaborate with multiple DB2 teams (SQL/X and XQuery standard team, Almaden Research Team and SVL developement team) to transfer and deliver new technologies and features related to DB2.
