A POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE position in clinical research is available starting January 1, 2009 in the Vascular Biology and Therapeutics Program and Department of Dermatology of the Yale School of Medicine. Seeking a highly motivated and technically accomplished individual interested in studying the role of blood vessels in human cancer. Work will be with our two established human melanoma models using cultured human dermal vascular endothelial cells, or human skin grafted onto immunodeficient mice.

Technical proficiency performing experiments with DNA (qRT-PCR, recombinant DNA constructs) and protein (Westerns, ELISAs, immunohistochemistry, zymography) is essential. Experience or aptitude for performing mouse experiments is necessary. The successful candidate will participate in a large multidisciplinary, clinically oriented Vascular Biology and Therapeutics lab housed in the recently constructed Amistad Building.
