Below is a list of museums which are FREE on Sunday in Vienna. Notice that usually, only permanent collections are FREE, but that's enough, especially for poor students who are always interested in FREE stuff :D. Museums displayed with photos and some experiences are the ones that I already visited. And I will continue to visit the rest every Sunday and update the information every week :-).

With this address, it's difficult to find the museum :D, but here is the hint: from Karlsplatz metro station, at the exit head to TUW's library, turn left and walk a bit, you can see a church in Baroque style (Karlskirche) and the museum is next to it, on the left.

Here, you can learn Vienna's history is presented from Acient times, Roman times through Middle Ages to current time, some important wars and also important milestones of arts for which this city is famous. more...

Finding this museum is easy. From the metro station Herrengasse, go straight to the exit "Herrengasse". Then you can see a small street named Haarhof in front of you. Go through this street and Irisgasse after that, you will see a small square. There is a church here, so don't be surprised that many people will go to the same direction with you. Pass the church and Schulhof is on your right. Keep on going for 2 minutes, you will see the museum as in this photo. more...
