KTH School of Electrical Engineering announces Ph.D. student positions in mobile peer-to-peer project
We invite applications for two salaried positions for graduate studies towards the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. The research addresses system design and performance evaluation for a wireless content distribution system that leverages peer-to-peer contact between mobile devices.
We seek highly motivated individuals holding an M.Sc. degree in electrical or computer engineering, or a related area. The candidate must have excellent academic credentials, a strong background in networking, and the curiosity and drive that is necessary to succeed with the studies. Expertise in one or more of the following areas is required: stochastic processes and teletraffic theory, algorithms and complexity theory, simulation and statistical processing of data, and programming, especially of mobile devices. KTH aims to employ a diversity of talent and thus welcomes applicants who will add to the variety of the University, especially as concerns its gender structure.
